Every thought has a source

And every dream has its reality

“We all dream.  Each person their own.  Fantasies and realities.  Pleasures and fears.  But each has their own limitations.  One in a thousand  do we ever wake up remembering.  And only a small portion of those will we remember forever.  But what makes us dream?  Some say it is simply subconscious thought.  But really, it is no different than a thought we could come up with while awake.  It is only fascinating to us because it is an unintentional thought. 
We can visualize it better and in a bit more detail.

Dreams within themselves have no limits.  We can dance, we can cry, laugh or play.  We can feel true fear, or true peace. 
We can fall, but we’ll never hit bottom.

But then there are the other types of ‘dreams’.  The hopes of the future.  The questions of reality.  The wishes of things that may never come true.  This is what drives us.  Drives us to live and work and search for something. 
Love.  God.  Companionship.  Friendship.  Feelings.  Guidance.

But these are thoughts.  What unites all we do, say, feel, and dream.  This is the key.  What we grow to allowing ourselves to think, and what we refuse to think.  All trial and error.  But we must never give up.”

I’ve been hearing about all this hype about Rhonda Byrne’s book, The Secret, and even saw an interview one time about it.  At first glance, it sounds Christian, but there were some fishy statements being made here and there… Regardless of your ‘background’ or religeous bent, or religeous beliefs, there’s some irrational, irresponsible, arrogant statements made in the book about us, as human beings, on this earth.

The Secret, a best-selling book, block-buster DVD, audio CD, web site, & related merchandising & seminar phenomenon, has blasted across cyberspace & the television airwaves in the last year, promising “the secret” to personal fulfillment, financial success, relationship abundance, & spiritual enlightenment. And it fits the old adage, “If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.” In fact, once the fluff, Aussie accent, high production values, & esoteric vocabulary are removed there is literally nothing left. Even though it has been endorsed & extolled by many public luminaries, such as Oprah Winfrey, Larry King Live , & Ellen DeGeneres, The Secret is really nothing secret & nothing new: it is a splashy version of the prosperity, motivational, self-help mantra popularized by the 20th century sales guru W. Clement Stone (1902 – 2002), “conceive, believe, & achieve” – anything, anytime, anywhere, by anyone.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY - Two dozen units and about 50 firefighters responded to a three-alarm fire at a vacant apartment building Sunday night.
The fire started around 5 p.m. at the nine-building Ballantyne Apartments complex which is under construction at the intersection of East Dry Creek Road and South Clinton Street.
